FORMATTING IMAGE MEMORY CARDS

Format the image memory card in the camera while the camera is
connected to the computer.
All protected and unprotected images on the SmartMedia™ will
be permanently removed when the format function is used.
(see the Protecting Images section in the camera manual).
1. Select Format Card... from the Minolta
Dimage V menu.
• The following message will appear.

2. Click on OK.
• The bar below will appear to report progress.
• Clicking on STOP will discontinue formatting, however some or all
of the image information will have already been erased.
