DIMÂGE V MAIN PANEL FUNCTIONS
The Dimâge V main panel allows the camera operations to be
controlled through the computer.
With the Dimâge V main panel, you can:
• Display the status of the Dimâge V camera (p. 54).
• Operate the Dimâge V with the Macintosh:
Remote recording (p. 55).
Recording with exposure compensation (p. 57).
Self-timer (p. 58).
Reset the Dimâge V clock (p. 59).
Format image memory cards (p. 60).
• Transfer image data to the SmartMedia™ in the camera
from the hard drive or removable media (p. 62).
• Create a time-lapse movie (p. 64).

OPENING THE DIMÂGE V MAIN PANEL
There are two ways to open the Dimâge V panel:
• Launch the software (p. 18).
The panel will appear as shown below.
• Switch to the Dimâge V main panel from the
viewer, image, or movie panel by selecting
Dimage V from the Window menu.
