System requirements

The computer and the operating system must be guarantied by the manufacturer to support IEEE
1394 (FireWire), or USB interface. To use the scanner, your computer system must meet the fol-
lowing requirements:
Pentium 166 Mhz or later processor.
Pentium III or later recommended.
USB: Windows 98, 98 Second Edition,
2000 Professional, Me, or XP.
IEEE 1394: Windows 2000 Professional,
Me, or XP
A minimum of 128MB of RAM.
600MB or more of available hard-disk space is required.
800 X 600 monitor capable of displaying High
Color (16 bit) is required.
1024 x 768 monitor is recommended.
IEEE1394 (FireWire) or preinstalled USB (ver. 2.0 or 1.1) interface
Recommended IEEE boards
Adaptec FireConnect 4300,
PROCOMP SpeedDemon 400P, or
OHCI compatible non-DV dedicated
