  • Page 32 INTRODUCTION The Forestry Flail Head is an effective, reliable machine used for maintaining grass, weeds, brush and small trees. For best results operate the machine as low to the round as possible without the hammers striking ground or other obstructions. Lifting or tilting the tree hammer increases the risk of flying debris, and is considered as inappropriate and the manufacturer will not be held liable for injuries to people and damage to property or the machine itself.

    The TRAXX RF should only be operated on concrete or hard surface hillsides with the optional rubber track system installed. This equipment must be only installed on the Traxx radio controlled machine sold by Alamo Industrial. For the purpose of this Alamo Industrial equipment, the following definitions apply.

    MAINTENANCE DRIVE BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT AND REPLACEMENT The drive belts utilized on the Traxx RF mower provide a transfer of power from the hydraulic system to the cuttershaft of the mower. This allows the belts to act much like a clutch and to slip on the pulleys when the mower encounters an obstruction or is severely overloaded.
