Dissassemble the FreeStep
Begin by taking apart the SPECIFIED components of the FreeStep
disassemble the product into more components than the parts listed on page 4 & 5 of this guide. Please
ensure that all hardware is placed in a resealable plastic bag.
USE CAUTION: Always lift the Base with the help of a partner.
Preparing the FreeStep for Disassembly
Ensure the left Crank Arm is positioned at the top of

the Flywheel (Figure B).

Engage the Step Lock by pressing and holding the
Lock button on the Console for 5 seconds (Figure C).

Unplug the Power Adapter from its power source.
Removing the Forward Pivot Cover Sets

Remove the Forward Pivot Cover Sets by unscrewing
the 4 × Screws on each side with the Phillips
Screwdriver (Figure D).
Removing the Seat Back Assembly
Remove the Seat Pivot Cover Set by unscrewing the 2 ×

Phillips Screws and 2 × Phillips Bolts using the Phillips
Screwdriver (Figure E ).
Remove the Seat Back by unscrewing the 4 × Bolts

and 4 × Washers using the 6 mm Allen Wrench
(Figure F).

STEP 21 - INSTALL THE BACKREST JOINT
COVER WITH TWO (2) PHILLIPS SCREWS
AND TWO (2) M4X15 PHILLIPS BOLTS USING
THE PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER.

STEP 20 - INSTALL THE SEAT BACK WITH FOUR
(4) M8X15 BOLTS AND WASHERS BY HAND.
AFTER THE BOLTS HAVE BEEN STARTED BY
HAND, PROCEED TO FULLY TIGHTENING ALL
FOUR (4) BOLTS WITH THE 6MM ALLEN.
