OVERVIEW
The Cable Matters Battery Clamp with Heavy-duty construction is
designed to make a set of battery jumper cables or to replace the
existing clamps on the battery jumper cables or commercial
battery charger. It's easy to use and suitable for most vehicle
battery jumper cables or commercial battery charger.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS - READ BEFORE INSTALLING
1) Loosen and remove screw on the side of the clamp with a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
2) Remove brass jaw from the clamp. (see Figure 1)
3) Strip 0.39" to 0.59" (10-15 mm) of insulation from one end of the cable with a wire striper (not included).
4) Slide cable with the newly-exposed insulated wire end into the clamp through the handle grips. (see Figure 2)
Note: Identify the positive and the negative clamps: Use black clamp for the negative booster cable. Use red clamp for
the positive cable.
5) Insert the insulated wire end into the brass jaw and fasten tightly with a vise-grip plier (not included). (see Figure 3)
6) Place the brass jaw back into the clamp. Fasten screw on the side of the clamp.
7) The installation is finished. (see Figure 4)
