Failure to comply releases the manufacturer from its statutory liability. Reference documents Supplementary information connected to GEZE drives can be found in the specific wiring diagrams. Installation information à Remove the laser window protection before the teach-in or putting the sensor into operation.
à Make sure that the cover of the door control is fitted correctly and earthed. à If unauthorised changes are made to the system, GEZE cannot be held liable in any way whatsoever for any resulting damage, and the state- ment of approval for use in escape and rescue routes is no longer valid.
Description Safety sensor GC 342+ Safety-conscious working à Secure workplace against unauthorised entry. à Watch the swivelling range of long system parts. à Never carry out high-risk work alone. à Secure the cover/drive panels against falling. à Use only the cables specified on the cable plan provided. Cables must be shielded in accordance with the wiring diagram.
Installation Safety sensor GC 342+ Installation Before attaching the mounting plate, make sure that the sensor does not obstruct door movement. If the sensor is not positioned correctly, it may be crushed when the door is opened. For optimum safety, install one module on each door wing side and interconnect the two modules using a door connection cable HS/OHS.
