13. To change the preset timer time if required, press the "Bottom heat" button
until the indicator flashes "TC". Set this time using the and buttons
and, if required, press the "Top heat" button to change the time as described.
14. Caution: Depending on the programme, the temperature and run time can
only be adjusted in certain ranges, as described in the table on page 38. Tip:
With your own programme, you are free to set both as you wish.
15. Press the "Power" button. The appliance will now preheat.
16. While this is taking place, add your chosen pizza toppings.
17. When the preheating phase is completed, a beep sounds three times.
18. Important: Due to the compact design of the appliance, it is possible that
some smoke may escape from the appliance door.
Baking the pizza
19. Open the door of the appliance and use a pizza paddle to slide the pizza with
its toppings onto the pizza stone. Caution: The appliance and pizza stone
are very hot!
20. Close the door of the appliance.
21. If required, press the "TC" button now so that the timer is switched on.
22. Note: Once the run time of the timer has started, this time cannot be
changed until this time has expired. Similarly, a programme cannot be
changed once it has started. In this case, you must cancel the programme
using the "Power" button. Preset values such as the temperature are then
no longer stored.
23. During baking, check the pizza occasionally to ensure that the pizza is
baked evenly and reaches the consistency you require. Depending on the
temperature, the pizza may be ready very quickly. The exact baking time
varies depending on the type of dough and the amount and thickness of the
toppings on your pizza. Thinly topped pizza may be ready in as little as two
minutes, while thicker toppings may require a little longer.
24. If you have selected the run timeusing the timer, a beep will sound five times
after this time has elapsed. Caution: After the set time has elapsed, a beep
sounds, but the baking process will continue.
25. When your pizza is ready, open the appliance door.
26. Carefully remove the pizza with a pizza paddle. Note that both the appliance
and the pizza are very hot.
27. Close the appliance door again.
28. Let the pizza cool down briefly before serving and enjoying it.
29. If required, you can now bake more pizzas.
