Broadcast messages

These messages (e.g. weather reports, news) are sent by the network to all phones in a certain area. This service is network dependent.
Please contact your service provider for details.
With the standby screen displayed, press
procedures.

Reading Cell broadcast messages

Press 1 to display the message.
Use the
and
keys to scroll through the message.
Press Softkey 1 when you have read the message. The cell broadcast menu will be re-displayed.

Auto display

Auto display turns the automatic display function On/Off. This function displays the received broadcast
message automatically.
Press 2 to display the Auto display screen.
Use the
and
keys to highlight On or Off, and press

Filter

You can select the Filter setting for the Cell broadcast messages.
Press 3 to display the Filter screen.
Use the
and
keys to highlight All, None or List, and press
When All is selected, all the broadcast messages are received.
When None is selected, no broadcast message is received.
When List is selected, you can specify a list or CBMI (Cell Broadcast Message Identifier) to receive broadcasts from.

Languages

Press 4 to display the Language screen.
Use the
and
keys to highlight the required language, and press
Softkey 1 to confirm.
2 and 7 to display the Cell broadcast screen before performing the following
MENU
to turn on the radio button. Then, press Softkey 1 to confirm.
