    ™ Pro Star PC215 pH/ion and conductivity bench meter. Orion Pro Star PC215 pH/ion and conductivity bench meters are designed to provide accurate and reliable testing in laboratories that need a modern, easy-to-operate meter with advanced performance and reliable data reporting.
  • Page 9: Intended Use

    Secure a wide range of electrodes using the various electrode holder options. Neatly organize electrode cables in the built-in side channels of the stand. All Orion Pro Star PC215 meters include an electrode stand, USB flash drive, computer cable and universal 100-240V 50/60 Hz power adapter with wall plugs for US/Japan, Euro, UK/Singapore, Australia/New Zealand and China.

    The amount of up and down resistance can be adjusted using the upper dial. Dialing left decreases the resistance, making the arm easier to move up and down.     2.3 Meter Inputs 2.3.1 Power Button The meter power button is located on the right side of the meter. Press and release the power button to power the meter on or off. 2.3.2 USB Inputs The USB meter inputs are located on the left side of the meter. Each input has a protective cap that protects the meter from dust and water intrusion.

    • 1 or 2 Orion stirrer probes can connect with the stirrer inputs on the meter; the user can assign the Stirrer 1 or Stirrer 2 input to each measurement channel in the measurement settings. • Orion stirrer probes are meter-powered and meter-controlled for easy sample stirring and rinsing.     4.5 Temperature Calibration 4.5.1 Temperature Calibration Overview The thermistor sensor used for automatic temperature compensation (ATC) and measurements is both accurate and stable, so frequent calibration is not required. A 1 to 2 point temperature offset calibration can be performed, up to ±5.0°C for each calibration point.
