Overview
This quick installation guide describes the objectives, organization and
basic installation of the PLANET VIP-155PT PoE IP Phones, and explains how
to establish your first voice over IP communication via PLANET product. In
addition, this guide shows you how to find additional information on related
products and services.
The VIP-155PT not only integrate web-based graphical user interface but
also are provided with telnet console that can cover most configurations and
machine status monitoring. Via standard, web browser or telnet console, you
can configure and check machine status from anywhere around the world.

  • Page 4 The Power over Ethernet support on PLANET PoE IP phones complies with the 802.3af standards. Using non-802.3af compliant PoE device  will burn up the IP Phone permanently. Hint Either one power-source is allowed. Please make sure only one power source is applied to the PoE IP phone.
