    Permanent Link test adapters are delivered with the standard WireXpert MP kit. Channel Link User patch cords are included for the Channel configuration.     Battery a) Use only battery supplied by Softing for your devices. b) The battery in the device should be fully discharged and fully charged again should the device is planned for storage for an extended period, i.e., > 6 months.
  • Page 22 The power supply adapter should be used in a well-ventilated environment. Warranty, extended warranty and XpertCare program Softing provides a standard one-year warranty for manufacture defects. The warranty covers defects such as devices or accessories that have ceased to operate as intended that are not caused by mishandling or wear and tear.

    1. The Slide-down menu can be triggered by performing a swipe-down action from the top of the screen . It provides quick accessible options to user and device configurations.     [Project] expands the possibility to manage test results of multiple sites as one consolidated collaboration. Configurations made in the Test Settings can be saved recalled when the Project is loaded. The number in the bracket indicates the total number of created Projects.     Permanent Link (PL) test is comprised of the connection from a patch panel to a telecommunication outlet (horizontal cabling) using Permanent Link test adapters at each end of the link under test.
