Overview EVB-PCI12000 EVALUATION KIT OVERVIEW The EVB-PCI12000 is a demonstration and evaluation platform that provides the nec- essary requirements and interface options for evaluating the PCI12000, a single-chip PCIe switch with programmable I/O options (I C/SPI/UART/GPIO), on a six-layer RoHS-compliant Printed Circuit Board (PCB).

EVB-PCI12000 Evaluation Board RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT The following are the recommended hardware for the EVB-PCI12000 Evaluation Kit: • 12V DC Power Supply: The EVB-PCI12000 includes a 5.5x2.5x12 mm DC barrel jack, which is compatible with AC/DC adapters, including the Cincon TRH70A120-12E01-Level-VI.

    Host PC’s PCIe slot is not supported. There- fore, all intentional Reset actions shall occur via installation of jumper J19. When the EVB-PCI12000 is reset via J19 during runtime operation, the PCIe-depen- dent functions of the PCI12000 are not expected to function normally afterwards.
