1.1. Intended Use This track drive is designed for use with the NexGen 2000 and 3000 Series Klean Sweeps. It is not intended for use with smaller power sweeps or other applications.

SAFETY NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE Keep Away from a Vertical Wall of Grain This information may also apply to fertilizer where the bin is intended for fertilizer storage. • Vertical walls of grain are created when the bin is partially empty. Poking at the wall can make the grain avalanche and submerge a person.

SAFETY Use Electric Motors Safely To prevent electrocution: • Have electric motors and controls installed and serviced by a qualified electrician to meet local codes and standards. • Replace electrical wiring and cords that are worn or are not in good condition.
2. SAFETY NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE 2.3. Safety Decal Locations and Replacements Read and follow all safety decals. To replace a safety decal: Know where they are located. 1. Make sure the area is clean, dry, and the Replace all safety decals that are missing, damaged, temperature is above 50°F (10°C).
Report missing or damaged parts immediately to ensure that proper credit is received from AGI or your representative, and to ensure that any missing parts can be shipped quickly to avoid holding up the assembly process.

5. ASSEMBLY NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE 3. Set the correct, final “slot-to-slot spacing” at each section connection with the supplied, specialized jig and tack weld each connection. Note • Maintaining the section connection “slot-to-slot spacing” is even more important than the track radius.
NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE 5. ASSEMBLY 5.3. Assembling the Trim Shield and Flight Trim the shield and flight leaving proper space for the track. 1. Trim out a 6″ wide x 3″ tall rectangle in the shield and flight centered above the track location.
5. ASSEMBLY NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE 5.4. Assembling the Track Drive Arm Assemble the track drive next to the track. 1. Assemble the track drive arm to the track drive mount with 1/2″ x 2″ bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts.

Position the gearbox upright on a level surface, remove the fill/level plug, and check the oil level. (The gearbox is shipped filled with oil.) Note Oil should leak from the opening when the fill/level plug is removed.
5. ASSEMBLY NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE 5.6. Assembling the Track Drive 1. Assemble the track drive mount to the sweep shield rear. 2. Connect the mount plate and track drive mount with 1/2″ x 5″ bolts and nylon lock nuts, sandwiching the shield square tube.
• Apply Loctite to the key (not supplied by AGI) to bond it and help stop it from vibrating out. 2. Position the motor onto the gearbox and secure the motor with the hardware that came with the motor.

Assembling the Motor Covers • Don’t enter the bin unless all power driven equipment is shut down and locked out. • Make sure power to this track drive and the equipment can be shut down and locked out using a power disconnect switch that can only be locked in the “Off”...
• Shut down and lock out power before maintaining equipment. • After maintenance is complete, replace all guards, service doors, and/or covers. • Use only genuine AGI replacement parts or equivalent. Use of unauthorized parts will void warranty. If in doubt, contact AGI or your local dealer.
NEXGEN 2000 AND 3000 – TRACK DRIVE 6. MAINTENANCE 6.3. Check/Change the Gearbox Oil Important • The gearbox is shipped filled with oil. Even under normal working conditions, oil tends to dissipate. • Periodically check and maintain proper oil level.
