PREPARATION OF THE COFFEE MACHINE EA 950 FOR USE BEFORE FIRST USE Before first use, remove all packaging and advertising labels/stickers from the appliance. Remove the water tank, the inner lid of the water tank, the drip tray grid, the coffee grounds hopper and the inner lid of the coffee bean hopper.

BASIC USE OF THE COFFEE MACHINE EA 950 SWITCHING THE COFFEE MACHINE ON AND OFF Before switching the coffee machine on, check that: The coffee machine is correctly assembled and no parts are damaged. Water in the tank and both lids are closed.

The coffee machine is equipped with an automatic shut-off function. Set the automatic shutdown time as required. The setup procedure can be found in the next section of the instructions “Advanced settings for the EA 950”. NOTE: During the processes of warming up, flushing the coffee machine and cleaning the brewing system, you will hear the sounds of moving parts of the machine, the pump, etc.

7. The automatic process of coffee preparation starts. The coffee preparation process includes: tamping the coffee and brewing the coffee. ADVANCED COFFEE MACHINE EA 950 SETTING Press the MENU/ESC button to enter the advanced settings of the coffee machine. Use the buttons to move up and down. Click the button to enter the selected menu or to confirm the selection.

CARE AND CLEANING Before cleaning the appliance, always disconnect the plug of the power cord from the mains socket and let it to cool down properly. WARNING! DO NOT WASH THE APPLIANCE, MAINS CORD AND PLUG UNDER RUNNING WATER AND DO NOT IMMERSE IT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

4. Wash the grid and drip tray in warm water with a little dishwashing detergent, rinse and wipe dry with a clean cloth. 5. Insert back into the coffee machine. WARNING! THE WATER IN THE DRIP TRAY MAY BE VERY HOT. BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING A FULL DRIP TRAY.

CLEANING THE WATER TANK Clean the water tank regularly. Do not leave the water in the tank for more than one day. 1. Open the outer tank lid and remove the inner lid. 2. Take the water tank by the handle and pull it up. 3.

WARNING! HOT WATER AND HOT STEAM! DURING CLEANING, WATER AND STEAM ARE HEATED TO A VERY HIGH TEMPERATURE AND THERE IS A RISK OF SCALDING. BE VERY CAREFUL. NOTE: If you need to cancel the cleaning process, select “No” in step 6 or 9 and confirm with button.

Empty the hopper according to the instructions in the section “Coffee grounds hopper”. 8. You will then be prompted to insert the degreasing tablet.
