7.1
Offboarding process using the "Connection Module IOT Config"
application
Offboarding is the process of disconnecting the Connection Module from the Insights Hub
application "Drivetrain Analyzer". All onboarding information in the Connection Module is then
deleted.
If you onboarded the asset under "Drivetrain Analyzer" Version 2.0.0 or higher, no further
input is required. Under certain circumstances, e.g. if you carried out onboarding using an
older software version, you may also have to specify the tenant under which the asset is
registered.
The offboarding process permanently deletes all data stored in "Drivetrain Analyzer", as well
as the asset itself.
The asset instance used is released and is then available for onboarding a new asset under
the relevant tenant.
After offboarding, transmission of measurement data to "Drivetrain Analyzer" is no longer
possible. To transfer data, start a new onboarding process.
Offboarding is the precondition for a new onboarding process for "Drivetrain Analyzer".
7.1.1
Executing the offboarding process
Follow the procedure described below for the offboarding process.
Note
Use the "Identify" function to check whether you are connected with the required Connection
Module.
Requirements
• You have logged in to the Connection Module (Page 38).
• The Wi-Fi connection has been set up. (Page 44)
• The Connection Module is registered with Drivetrain Analyzer. (Page 66)
• You have the role "iqfleet.offboarding" in "Drivetrain Analyzer". If you do not have this role,
offboarding is canceled with an error message "Insufficient rights". Contact your "Drivetrain
Analyzer" tenant administrator.
