Check the play of the bearings by placing the motor -
cycle on a trestle and shaking the fork sleeves in travel-
ling direction (Fig. 30).
If any play is found, proceed as follows (Fig. 31):

Loosen screws 1-2.
-
Tighten the ring nut 3 to take up the play.

Partly tighten screw 2.
-
Tighten screw 1.

Fully tighten screw 2.

Vérifier le jeu des paliers en plaçant la moto sur une bé-
quille et en remuant les couvertures de la fourche dans
le sens de la marche (Fig. 30).
En cas de jeu, procéder au réglage suivant (Fig. 31):
-
Déserrer les vis 1-2.
-
Visser le collier 3 pour récupérer le jeu.
-
Visser à nouveau partiellement la vis 2.
-
Serrer la vis 1.
-
Serrer à fond la vis 2.
