In large rooms and where there is also a large viewing distance to the TV or viewing screen, we recommend
using a pair of REFERENCE On-Wall 2 loudspeakers for the centre channel. This ensures particularly even
coverage and always enables sufficient reserves, even at high volumes.
In a surround system, the centre channel quantitatively handles the majority of the sound reproduction. In
order to maintain a perfect space panorama, mount the REFERENCE On-Wall unit to be run through the centre
channel as close as possible to the TV or next to the viewing screen. In this type of configuration, you connect
both REFERENCE On-Wall loudspeakers used as centre speakers to the centre plug jack on your receiver.
REFERENCE On-Wall loudspeakers used for the left and right front channels should have some distance to the TV
or viewing screen, in order to ensure perfect spatial imaging.
The ideal configuration is where the front loudspeakers form an equilateral triangle to the listening position and
the distance to each CLASSIC On-Wall unit as centre speakers is more than 50 centimetres on both sides, in order
to ensure perfect spatial reproduction characteristics.
Attach the REFERENCE On-Wall
loudspeaker below the
television so that the tweeter is
on the left-hand side.
