REFERENCE On-Wall in a 5.1 Surround Application
In a complete multi-channel set, the REFERENCE On-Wall loudspeakers can be used as both front and rear
speakers. We recommend partnering these loudspeakers with the AUDIO PHYSIC HHC III Centre, along with
the LUNA subwoofer. This creates a total system of utmost tonal balance and stunning performance
The conditions are not always available for ideally positioning a conventional centre speaker. If the
REFERENCE CENTER is too large in terms of depth, for example, there is an option of using a single REFERENCE
On-Wall unit for the centre channel. In doing so, it should be mounted on the wall horizontally below the
TV or viewing screen with the aid of the drilling template.

In this configuration, one REFERENCE
On-Wall unit handles the sound
reproduction of the centre channel.
This is a particularly good solution if
the TV is also mounted on the wall.
The REFERENCE On-Wall unit also
features an attachment device for
this option. If the REFERENCE On-
Wall unit is used as a centre speaker,
the tweeter of the loudspeaker
should always be on the left-hand
side, in order to ensure good
coverage.
