- Page 3 Deutsch 1. Beschreibung Der EX-1163HMS-WT ist ein USB 2.0 HUB für bis zu 4 Endgeräte. Er ist mit 4 Ports für Endgeräte und 1 Port für den Anschluss an den PC ausgestattet und unterstützt alle USB Standards von 1.1 bis 3.2. Durch die Stromversorgung über den Terminal Block stehen an jedem Port die vollen 500mA zur Verfügung.

- Page 5 DATA- 3.3 Jumper Einstellungen Der EX-1163HMS-WT wird mit der Einstellung Self-Power ausgeliefert, d.h. er funktioniert nur, wenn eine Spannung am Terminal Block anliegt. Mit dem internen Jumper JP1 besteht die Möglichkeit den Hub über den USB-Bus zu betreiben (Bus-Power). Dafür öffnen Sie das Gehäuse mit den zwei seitlichen Schrauben.
- Page 6 4. Hardware Installation Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise. Da es große Unterschiede zwischen PCs gibt, können wir Ihnen nur eine generelle Anleitung zum Einbau der EX-1163HMS-WT geben. Bei Unklarheiten halten Sie sich bitte an die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Computersystems. 1. Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte USB Kabel mit der USB B-Buchse des Hub´s.

- Page 8 1. Description The EX-1163HMS-WT is a USB 2.0 HUB for up to 4 end devices. It is equipped with 4 ports for end devices and 1 port for connection to the PC and supports all USB standards from 1.1 to 3.2.

- Page 10 DATA- 3.3 Jumper Einstellungen The EX-1163HMS-WT is supplied with self-power setting, i.e. it only works when a voltage is applied to the terminal block. With the internal jumper JP1, it is possible to operate the hub via the USB bus (bus power). To do this, open the housing using the two screws on the side. Now the jumper JP1 can be set from T (terminal block) to U (USB).

In the area of the connectors please make sure that no fibres from the cloth remain in the connectors. Attention!
