0 - RELAY ENERGIZED AT POWER UP
This prompt sets the status of the relay at power-up. For example,
if an elevator control circuit is connected to the NC contacts on
relay 1, and relay 1 is programmed to be energized at power up,
the elevators will continue to operate if the A.R.M. board or
system loses power.
If the relay is in a de-energized state when power is applied, the
relay will not switch states if the A.R.M. board or the system
loses power. For example, if a gate operator is connected to the
NO contacts on relay 2, and relay 2 is programmed to be
de-energized at power up, the gate will remain closed if the
A.R.M. board lost power.
This mode is typically used for elevator or HVAC. Enter a "1" and
the relay will be energized at power up. Any action that activates
the relay will de-energize it. Deactivating the relay will cause it to
energize again.
If you enter "0," the relay will be de-energized at power up. Any
action that activates the relay will energize it. This mode is
typically used for control of doors or gates.
Factory setting = All relays energized at power up.
1 THROUGH 4 - LOCATIONS THAT ACTIVATE
THIS RELAY
This setting allows four locations to be defined and activated
by a relay.
1. A number between 01 and 16 that defines the Multi-Link unit
affiliated with this relay. This entry must be made as two digits.
2 Numbers correspond with doors (e.g., 1 = Door 1, 2 = Door 2).
3. This entry will activate a card reader and a phone as valid
access devices. The entry can be from one to three digits
depending on how many devices will share the same activation
time for this relay.
4. The system will ask for the minutes. The entry for the minutes
must be three digits long (up to 255). Then the system will ask
for the seconds; this entry must be two digits in length. Do not
enter a colon between the minutes and the seconds.
