4) OPERATION NOTE Before and after hazardous voltage measurements, test the voltage function on a known source such as line voltage to determine proper meter functioning. Press Cylinder button for one second or more to display the cylinder setting, and press momentarily again within one second to select the number of cylinders from 1 through 12 to match the engine under test. Adjust the dwell angle according to the procedures outlined in your vehicle service manual.
