Raptor X Servers for Tru64 UNIX Installation & Reference Manual
It is only necessary to install the package for the card you wish to
use.
3.1.1 Installation From CD-ROM
3.1.1.1 Installation on Tru64 UNIX v4.0
This driver software supports Tru64 UNIX v4.0f and higher.
To install from a CD-ROM, follow the procedure below.
1. Insert the CD-ROM into the drive.
2. Create a mount point for the CD-ROM, such as /cdrom.
prompt# mkdir /cdrom
3. Mount the CD-ROM on /cdrom. For example, if the CD-
ROM device is located on the c partition of rz4, type:
prompt# mount -t cdfs -o rrip /dev/rz4c \
/cdrom
Follow instructions below to install individual patches.
4.
a. To install the software for Raptor 2000 and Raptor 1000,
type:
prompt# cd /cdrom/RAPTOR
prompt# setld -l .
b. To install the Raptor GFX-8PD software package, type:
prompt# cd /cdrom/GFX
prompt# setld –l .
