6 Cleaning
Danger!
Pull the plug out of the socket before each cleaning.
Danger!
Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other liquids. Do not clean it in
the dishwasher.
Risk of burns or injury!
Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Clean the appliance immediately after every use.
- The swivel arm with the cheese tray can be pulled upwards and completely removed for easy cleaning. Clean
these parts as well as the scraper with warm water and a mild detergent only.
- Remove the grill plate from the appliance and clean it with warm water, a mild detergent and a firm sponge
only. Avoid using abrasive cleansers or sponges. In case of stubborn residues let the grill plate soak.
- Wipe the housing and the foot with a soft cloth only, slightly damp if necessary.
- Do not use any abrasive utensils or materials or aggressive cleaning products to clean the appliance or its
components.
- Ensure that the appliance and all parts are completely dry before using them again or putting them away.

8 Servicing/Maintenance
Servicing and maintenance are limited to Cleaning as described in Chapter 6.
