Lutron Athena System Operation and Maintenance Manual
Operations and Maintenance
Lutron Connect Single Sign On (SSO) Configuration Request (continued)
Setup Process
• Submit the above Required Setup Information to Lutron through your field service contact.
• A Lutron representative will confirm that you have purchased LSC-SSO-SETUP (for SSO setup) and premium
cloud services, and then set up SSO. They will provide you with Lutron-specific details (e.g., Lutron's
Callback URL and SAML Entity ID) as well as a link so that SSO can be tested with a few users.
• Once testing is completed, notify Lutron and Lutron will begin requiring SSO for all users in your domain.
Ongoing Upkeep
• Ensure that Lutron is notified about updated keys / certificates prior to their expiration. Many providers have
functionality to send you reminder emails prior to expiration. Lutron may require several days to make the
update, so please try to send updated certificates / keys at least 2 weeks in advance of expiration.
• If your company updated your email domain, you must inform your Lutron representative of the new domain.
Offboarding Process
• In the event that you want to discontinue SSO, please contact Lutron. Lutron will remove the SSO
configuration from your domain and send all users password reset emails so that they can set up standard
credentials.
