Electrical products can cause death, injury, or damage to property. Installation of this
product must be carried out by a qualied electrician, in compliance with SANS 10142 or
corresponding regulations of the country of installation. On completion of installation, the
Certicate of Compliance must be updated.
WARNING: TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK OR DEATH
TURN OFF POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE AND TEST THAT THE POWER IS OFF BEFORE WIRING
ALL LUMINAIRES SUPPLIED AND TO BE INSTALLED ABOVE AND BELOW 5 METERS ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH IEC
60598 SECTION 3.5.6 ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER GUARANTEE AND WARRANTY

– For non-user replaceable light sources:
"The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the
manufacturer or his/her service agent or a similar qualied person."
The above testing allows access to the Driver and LED compartments, however
these test should only be carried out by trained professional, incorrect handling
of the delicate components could cause further damage to the luminaire.
If the luminaire is opened for testing, all components must be re-assembled as
before, as incorrect re-assembly will impact the IP rating of the luminaire.

Requirements:
Be sure the electricity to the
Ÿ
system you are working on is
isolated.
If the main supply power (live) is
Ÿ
on, it will cause damage to the
luminaire.
1. Select the required position for the
Slabo and dig a hole to the
dimensions of the luminaire.
Ensure that the path is dug leading
the power supply to the remote
connection box.
2. Attach steel plate to base of
bollard.
3. Insert luminaire to your desired
height with the electrical supply
leading to the remote connection
box.
It is advised that you burry the
luminaire at 300mm.
Ensure the tting is installed in the
correct direction to the pathway.
Ensure that the luminaire is plumb.
