PREFACE With the purchase of the LELY WEEDER you have made an excellent choice. You now have at your disposal a first-class machine. You will profit most by this purchase if you carefully follow the instructions for use and maintenance contained in this operators manual.
Use always a tractor with a cab. Clear the field of objects that could be thrown up by the machine. Use flashing lights or other safety signs, when required. Don’t stand on the machine. Use genuine LELY parts only.

6,00 meters respectively. These large working widths and the 3-point linkage to the tractor enables a fast and efficient working method. The clearance of the LELY WEEDER is very important for use in fully grown crops. The weeder’s tines are made of first-class spring steel.
For crops grown in ridges the tines are placed in a dragging position while the furrows are tilled intensively by adjusting the tines in a cutting position. PUTTING THE MACHINE INTO OPERATION To operate the LELY WEEDER drive forward and lower implement slowly. DO NOT start forward motion with the tines in a working position.
Oxidation of tines affects their flexibility and should therefore be avoided. Spray the LELY WEEDER thoroughly after use and store the implement in a dry place. We also recommend a treatment with rust-preventer, particularly as far as tines are concerned. Especially when the LELY WEEDER is not to be used for a long time.
