Poly Rove User Guide Setup For connectivity, there are two scenarios for setting up your base unit, Power over Ethernet (PoE) or No Power over Ethernet. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that allows electrical power to be passed through an Ethernet cable alongside data. Devices that use PoE can be connected to both a power source and a network through a single Ethernet Cable.

At the message ‘Add another device to the system?’, select Yes. On the new handset: On the Poly Rove 30 that is not yet connected to the B2 Base Station, go to Menu, and then select Settings. Navigate to Connectivity and then select Easy Registration.
Call Transferring You can choose between attended and blind transfer to transfer calls on the Poly Rove 30 handset. The steps for both are outlined below: Attended Transfer During an active call, select Options and then Transfer.
