Quick device connection

Power off the device.
Connect the power cord and plug in the power supply.
Power on the device

Using MUNBYN APP to configure network for the unit on mobile phone

Search "Munbyn Print" on APP Store or Google Play to download the APP, or please scan the QR code to download the app.

Note: App requires local file access and Bluetooth function to function properly; please follow the guide to grant App permissions.
Using MUNBYN APP to configure network for the unit

Launch the MUNBYN APP after downloading the App. Select RW401AP, and click "OK" as shown below:
After the software has finished searching for the device, select the Bluetooth device and make sure that the printer and your device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Enter the Wi-Fi password and click "Determine", as shown below:
After successfully networking the printer, a pop-up window indicating a successful connection will appear, as shown in the picture:

Connecting the unit with the iOS System

Open the file you want to print, then click "More Options" in the upper right corner, and then click "Print".
The "Print Preview" screen will appear.
Select the printer that is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Modify the relevant parameters and click "Print".

Connecting the device with the Android System

Open the file you want to print, then click "More Options" in the upper right corner, and then click "Print".
The "Print Preview" screen will appear.

The Android system currently only supports 4*6 label paper for printing.

Select "RW401AP", then select the corresponding label paper, and then modify the printing details.
Clicking the "Print" button.

Connecting the device on computer with MacOS System

Check that your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network/network segment as the printer (You can print a self-check page to see which network the printer is currently connected to).
Add the printer to the MacOS device and wait for the system to finish adding the printer.
Open the file to be printed, then click the "Print" button, and then select "RW401AP" on the Print preview page.

Connecting the device on computer with Windows System

Note: To enhance your user experience on a Windows system, we recommend clicking the link below to install the printer driver. This will facilitate future adjustments to parameters such as size and print density.

Check that your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network/network segment as the printer (You can print a self-check page to see which network the printer is currently connected to).
Add the printer to the Windows device and wait for the system to finish adding the printer.(lt will take about 2 mins for the Windows system to configure the AP function, please wait patiently.)
Open the file to be printed, then click the "Print" button, and then select "RW401AP" on the Print preview page.

Windows system currently only supports 4*6, 4*4 and 3*5 label paper for printing.

Automatic label identification:

Load no less than 4 consecutive labels into the printer.
When the paper is prepared, press and hold the feeder button until you hear a beep.
Then, the printer will automatically do the label identification.
Pay attention to the front and back sides of the label.

Professional Tips

Anytime you change your label, run the automatic label identification.
Press the feeder button on the printer to skip a blank label.
To run a self-test, press and hold the feeder button until you hear two short beeps.
Avoid poor quality labels as they can damage the printer.
Regularly clean the printer head.
If the paper is jammed and the red light flashes, run automatic label identification.
Always insert your printer's USB into the same USB port on your computer. This prevents your operating system from creating duplicate copies of the printer.

Frequently-Asked Questions

How to maintain the print head

When we use the device to print more than 1,000 labels, we need to clean the print head.

Here are the steps that maintain the print head:

Please turn printer off and allow it to cool down (about half a minute)
Please use alcohol wipes or wipes to clean the print head marked at the following picture.
Please wait 2-5 minutes until the print head dry, then turn the printer on.
Please use high-quality thermal label paper (such as Munbyn label paper) as much as possible to prevent the inferior label paper from peeling off and remaining on the print head, which will affect the life of the print head.

Why is the printed label not clear

Try to choose PDF file format for printing instead of PNG, PIG, and other image formats, when the barcode you print out is light (please refer to the picture)
In the print preview interface, switch the print quality option from 'Normal' to 'Best'
If it is still not clear for the label, you can wipe the print head with alcohol wipes or wet tissues.

Why is there partial content missing in the printed labels?
This may be due to your document using colors with lower contrast. We recommend switching the print quality option from 'Normal' to 'Best.' Additionally, you can increase the color contrast of your document to resolve this issue.

Voice Command
