Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 bottles of dry red wine,
- 1 bottle of 54% rum,
- 2 lemons, untreated,
- 2 oranges, untreated,
- 2 cinnamon sticks,
- 4 cloves,
- 1 sugar cone
Preparation:
Wash the lemons and oranges with hot water and cut them into thin slices.
Fill the red wine with the cinnamon sticks, cloves and fruit slices in the pot and heat them together on the stove.
Please note that the wine must not boil!
Remove the pot from the stove and place it on the warmer. Light the paste burner to keep the punch warm.
Now place the sugar holder on the pot. Then pour the rum into a bowl and let the sugar cone briefly soak in the
rum. Place the soaked sugar cone on the sugar holder.
Now light the sugar loaf with a stick lighter/long match. Pour rum over it repeatedly until the sugar has completely
melted and dripped into the punch.
Attention! Rum is highly flammable, use the fire tongs punch with the necessary caution.
Always use a long-handled ladle to pour rum over the sugar cone and place the ladle on non-flammable
surfaces only after use.
Do not pour the rum straight from the bottle onto the sugar cone!

cleaning and use, as well as mechanical damage.
