- Do not place the burner down on hot or warm surfaces. Use a heat-resistant base to protect sensitive surfaces.
- Assure after each use and before filling in new fuel paste that the burner has completely extinguished and
cooled down.
- Use the corresponding lid only to extinguish the burner. There is a fire hazard if other objects are used. If a
burner is very hot and does not extinguish right away after the lid was put on, remove the lid again and allow
the burner to burn a few minutes longer at the lowest adjustment setting. This will reduce the heat and allow you
to use the lid to easily extinguish the burner afterwards.
- Make sure to let the burner cool down after use.
- Also, follow the warnings printed on the refill containers.
- The paste burner is delivered unfilled.
Prior to the first use
- Remove all packaging material first.
- Clean the pot, the sugar holder and the paste burner using warm water and a mild detergent. Then, rinse off
with clear water and dry off carefully.
- Wipe the warmer with a soft, slightly damp cloth only.
- Your fire tongs punch is now ready for use.
Refill the paste burner
- Extinguish the paste burner and allow it to cool down.
- Remove the burner from the warmer and open it (twist cap).
- Refill the empty aluminium cup with fuel paste (max. 2/3). Alternatively, place a new aluminium cup with fuel
paste into the lower section and tear open the cover.
- Close the burner (twist cap).
- Tip: For a better burning behavior and especially after long periods of non-use, remove any remaining old
fuel paste from the aluminium cup and dispose of it before refilling the burner.
Cleaning
- Extinguish the burner by closing the holes and placing the lid on the burner.
- Before cleaning, assure that the burner has extinguished and allow all parts to cool down.
- We recommend cleaning the paste burner after each use with water and a mild detergent or the SPRING-INOX
Cleaner. Residues of dirt may impair the adjustability of the burner.
- The pot and the sugar holder are dishwasher-safe. However, we recommend cleaning by hand with warm
water and a mild detergent. In the case of stubborn dirt, let the parts soak and use our SPRING-INOX Cleaner.
Please note the instructions for use on our Cleaner. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or
sponges.
- Wipe the warmer with a soft, slightly damp cloth only. Do not immerse it in water and do not wash it in the
dishwasher.
- Ensure that all parts are completely dry before using them again or putting them away.
