Push and hold to transmit.
@ FREQUENCY UP/DOWN SWITCHES [UP}/[DN]
Push either switch to change the operating
frequency or memory channel.
Push and hold either switch to start scanning.
[UP] may be used as the programmable remote

®© LOCK SWITCH [LOCK]
Prevents accidental key entry of all keys except
the PTT switch.
@ TONE CALL SWITCH (HM-59 only)
Push and hold to transmit a 1750 Hz tone signal.
@ ACTIVE INDICATOR (HM-56 only)
Lights when a key is pushed or tone is being
transmitted.
@ MEMORY WRITE KEY [MW] (HM-56 only)
Used when writing a DTMF code into a DTMF code
memory channel.
