3 DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE
General features
The Orbiter claw range have been designed by milkrite | InterPuls to ensure a fast and smooth milk
evacuation from cows and buffaloes to the main line, guaranteeing a higher vacuum level under the teats
and reducing vacuum fluctuations along the milking parlour which stress the animals and affect negatively
milk production. The transparent bowl allows to see the milk from the outside and thanks its high
performance plastic material all Orbiter claws are suitable even for the most critical environments.
The Orbiter 240 and 340 claws with a plastic lids have been designed for entry-level applications like bucket,
portable milking machines and pipe-line systems.
The Orbiter 250 and 350 claws with stainless steel lids have been designed to milk high-genetic animals,
typically in parallel, herringbone and rotary systems.
The Orbiter HD250 and HD350 claws (Heavy Duty restyling) have been designed with a special spring
clamp-nut positioned on the top of the stainless-steel lid to further protect its tightening torque thus avoiding
unexpected leakages while milking.
