Mounting instructions Backuum/BackVacuum, fixed straps kit p/n 140 7863 510
Disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the power supply before starting the work!
Tools needed: 1 TORX T 20 screwdriver, 1 flat screwdriver, 1 scissors, 4 locating pins.
Torque wrench settings: Back cover screws 1.8 Nm (15.9 pound-force inch).

First, remove the old
belt. Start by removing the
belt at the switch box.
5 Unscrew all Torx
screws at the back cover.
9 Remove the mobile straps. Use a scissors and cut
both straps just at the inlet to the dust chamber.
CAUTION! Do not open the dust chamber cover with
it´s rolling strap- function. This can cause personal
danger!
12 Unscrew ALL 4 TORX
screws holding inner and
outer dust chambers.

2 Remove the buckle.
6 Remove the back cover.
13 Use a regular flat screw
driver or simular, and
separate the inner dust
chamber from the outer
dust chamber.
3 Remove the locking
device from the belt.
7 Remove the belt from
the motor housing.
10 Open the dust chamber
lid, by pressing the locking
device.
14 Let the screw driver be
attatched to the chambers
and enclose the new fixed
straps. The new fixed
straps is to be placed
above the current (small)
strap.
4 Remove the switch box.
8 Lift up the shoulder
straps from the motor
housing
11 To avoid damage to
dust bag, we recommend
to remove the dust bag.
15 Mount and tighten ALL
4 screws holding the fixed
straps and the small strap.
16 Remount the dust bag.
Close the dust chamber
lid.
