Description
If enabled the Idle Timeout field can be
modified. On Demand specifies that the
modem will connect to the Internet on
demand.
Specifies that this connection will be the
default gateway for other LAN groups to
access the Internet.
Specifies that the MTU setting will be
enforced.
Enable to turn on the debugging mode
of your modem. Your ISP may ask you
to do this should you be experiencing
problems connecting to the Internet.
An unnumbered interface does not have
an IP address assigned to it. An unnum-
bered interface is often used in point-to-
point connections where an IP address
is not required. You'll notice that once
PPP Unnumbered is enabled you need
to choose the LAN group to which this
applies.
