CAUTION Insufficient cleaning or care. Insufficient or inattentive cleaning or care of the system can lead to malfunctions, material damage or personal injuries. • Examine the sensors regularly for dirt and clean them if necessary. • Regularly remove dirt accumulations from the product and its close surroundings, for ex- ample the floor, in the floor rail, or under the floor mat.
• The system or the battery can not be in excessive temperatures. • Only use ASSA ABLOY approved batteries. Other batteries can have a negative effect on the safety of the system. 1.4 Electronic equipment reception interference The equipment can generate and use radio frequency energy. If the equipment is not installed and used prop- erly it can cause interference to radio, television reception or other radio frequency type systems.
Turn the equipment ON and OFF to determine interference. Reorient the receiving antenna. Move the receiver with respect to the equipment. Move the receiver away from the equipment. Connect the receiver into a different outlet so that equipment and receiver are on different branch cir- cuits.
1.8 Warranty ASSA ABLOY warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under intended use and service for a warranty time of 12 months, beginning at time of delivery. This warranty extends only to the original buyer of the equipment.

The ASSA ABLOY SW300-S is a low-energy as well as a full power operator us- ing a DC motor and a gear-reduction system to drive an arm system, which opens the door. 3.4 Function description The swing door operator ASSA ABLOY SW300-S uses a DC motor and a gear reduction system to drive an arm system which opens the door. Closing power is controlled by a motor and a closing spring. A highly sophistic- ated electronic control unit uses a motor encoder and a microprocessor to control the door’s movement.
