Treadmill 600/700 Line Assembly Guide
Assembly requirements
Precor recommends at least two people for this installation. DO NOT
attempt assembly by yourself.
Follow the steps in the order listed in this assembly guide. Be sure to:
• Assemble the equipment close to where you plan to use it.
• Assemble the equipment on a solid, flat surface, so that it remains level and stable.
• Locate the equipment a minimum of .6 m (23.6 in.) on either side of the equipment and 2 m
(79 in.) behind the treadmill. DO NOT move the equipment without assistance.
IMPORTANT The treadmill requires a 20-amp individual branch circuit grounded per
NEC (National Electric Code) guidelines or local region electric code.

• #3 Phillips screwdriver
• Hex wrench 7/32-inch
• Hex wrench 5/16-inch
• Torque wrench with tension to at least 25 ft-lb (33.90 Nm) with
5/16-inch and 7/32-inch drivers

NOTE Extra hardware may be included with the treadmill.
Torque Measurements Use the following torque measurements to tighten the fasteners. If a
torque is not provided, then fully tighten the fastener with the appropriate tool.
• All screws (excluding plastic screws) to 25 ft-lb (33.90 Nm)
Attach uprights to treadmill
WARNING Do NOT connect electrical power until all assembly
procedures are complete and the console is properly installed.
1.
Remove the hood from the treadmill base and set it aside.
2.
Position a base side cover against the treadmill frame so that the tabs fit into the frame
(Figure 2).
3.
Attach the base side cover using two
one for the front attachment.
4.
Position the right side upright support near the base frame and route the data cable inside
of the base side cover and up through the right upright (Figure 4).
IMPORTANT DO NOT pinch or crush the cable during assembly.
