Wireless dual-technology detector
(IR + videoanalysis) for NG-TRX
intrusion detection systems
1 DESCRIPTION
VISIO2K is a NG-TRX wireless dual technology detector.
The device detects video alarm, tamper and masking at-
tempts conditions by analysing movements on the collected
images.
VISIO2K includes two sections (IR and video) operating in
AND mode.
Infrared section (IR): digital PIR sensor with multi-focal lens
with white light protection.
Video section: videocamera with anti-masking function. Au-
tomatic adjustment to light conditions with IR sensor and
illuminator (day/night video mode).
The device can be powered
• by battery only: video analysis will be activated only upon
an IR alarm;
• by battery and added external power supply: video anal-
ysis will always be active.
VISIO2K can be programmed using BrowserOne software.
2 COMPATIBILITY
VISIO2K is compatible with:
Control unit
PREGIO series
VILLEGGIO NG-TRX series
PROXIMA series
The connection to Pregio, Proxima requires the use of
GATEWAY2K.
In order to ensure detector correct operation, the NG-TRX
radio module of Villeggio NG-TRX control units and of
GATEWAY2K has to be updated to version 4.8 or above.

The version of a Villeggio NG-TRX control unit's radio mod-
ule can be checked entering the installer menu (after let-
ter N, e.g. "V2.8.4 N4.8.0"),the version of GATEWAY2K's
radio module can be checked using BrowserOne (page
Serial devices, button Read information).
