RECORDING
SYMPTOM
1. The desired program cannot be
recorded.
2. Recording and editing cannot be
made.
3. Timer programing cannot be made.
4. Timer programing recording does not
start.
5. VCR Plus+ Timer Programing cannot
be made.
6. Satellite Auto Recording recording
does not start.
7. On the front display panel, "– –:– –"
appears.
8. "PROGRAM FULL" appears on the TV
screen during timer programing.
9. The disc space does not increase when
recorded programs are cleared.
INITIALIZING
SYMPTOM
1. Malfunction occurs on the unit.
2. The Disc Tray doesn't open.
ATTENTION:
This unit contains microcomputers. External electronic noise or interference could cause malfunctioning. In such cases, switch the
unit off and unplug the mains power cord. Then plug it in again and turn the unit on. Take out the disc. After checking the disc,
operate the unit as usual.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The channel position does not
correspond to that in the receiving area.
No disc or a disc not being compatible
with the unit is loaded.
The disc loaded is not formatted.
A finalized DVD-R disc is loaded.
The disc is full or does not have enough
space for the program to be recorded.
The protect tab on the DVD-RAM
cartridge is set to the protect position.
Date and time is not correct.
Power failure occurred before the timer
programed recording starts.
Date and time set on the unit is not
correct.
The channel position does not
correspond to that in the receiving area.
The DBS receiver is not connected
properly to this unit.
Power failure occurred.
Eight programs have already been timer
programed.
The PC's data recorded on a DVD-RAM
drive cannot be cleared on this unit.

cord from the main outlet.
Press and hold the open/close button
