Dri-Aid Function - Advanced Bionics Auria Direct Connect Instructions For Use Manual

Avoid the following:
• Storing the Direct Connect at extreme temperatures (below 4°F/-20°C or above
122°F/50°C).* For example, do not leave in a closed car on a hot day or near a
heater or radiator.
• Dropping the Direct Connect onto a hard surface.
• Bending the small Direct Connect excessively or beyond a 15˚ angle.
*The Direct Connect has been tested for use in temperatures ranging from
32°F/0°C to 122°F/50°C.

Dri-Aid Function

The Auria Carrying Case provided in the Processor Kit acts as a Dri-Aid Kit. Regularly
place the Direct Connect, along with the Processor, into the Carrying Case to help
prevent moisture build up.
Warning: Small Parts Hazard: The external implant system contains small parts. The
Direct Connect earhook may cause choking if swallowed.
Cleaning
If necessary, the Direct Connect can be cleaned with a slightly dampened cloth or
tissue. Do not use soap or solvents.
CAUTION:
Do not immerse the Direct Connect in water or other fluids.
