Page 9 To operate your headpiece with your cochlear implant system you will need to install a 3D Magnet, and attach an AquaMic 3D Color Cap, as follows: Insert the 3D Magnet into the magnet well of the headpiece so that the arrow(s) on the magnet point up when the headpiece is on the head.

Water Use If a swim cap, headband, or other device used in water environments is placed over the headpiece microphone, some degradation in sound quality may be perceived. If any degradation in sound quality is noticed during water use, remove headpiece from head and gently shake to remove any excess water from microphone opening.

Page 69 Per mettere in funzione l'antennina con il proprio impianto cocleare, sarà necessario installare un magnete 3D e collegare un cappuccio colorato AquaMic 3D, come indicato di seguito. Inserire il magnete 3D dentro l'apposito foro dell'antennina, in modo che la/le freccia/frecce sul magnete sia/siano rivolta/e verso l'alto quando l'antennina è posizionata sulla testa.

Utilizzo in acqua Se una cuffia, una fascia o un altro elemento viene indossato sopra il microfono dell'antennina in ambienti acquatici, la qualità sonora potrebbe essere ridotta. In caso di riduzione della qualità sonora durante l'utilizzo in acqua, rimuovere l’antennina dalla testa e scuoterla delicatamente per togliere l'acqua in eccesso dall'apertura del microfono.
