Attaching the Direct Connect Earhook
The Direct Connect can be used in place of other Auria earhook modules and comes
in two sizes, standard and small. To place the Direct Connect on the HiRes™ Auria™
or Auria™ Harmony™ Processor, align the earhook up and down. Gently push straight
on until it lightly snaps in place.
The small sized Direct Connect earhook can be shaped for a custom fit around the
ear by bending the earhook to the desired position.
To Remove the Direct Connect:
Turn the Direct Connect slightly more than a 1⁄4 turn in either direction until it
pops off.
Programming the Processor for the Direct Connect
Consult with your audiologist for the appropriate audio mixing ratio settings as
these settings may need to be changed based on the type of assistive listening
device used.
