Direct Connect Cable:
The Direct Connect Cable comes in 3 different lengths and is designed (along
with a custom made cable or the Audio Interface Cable) to connect to a variety of
assistive listening devices (FM Systems, Infrared Systems, Walkman, MP3 Players
and CD Players). The cable has a 3.5mm stereo audio jack at one end and a
custom miniature connector at the other end that plugs into a connector on the
top of the earhook. With or without the Direct Connect Cable attached, the quick
disconnect earhook functions as a standard earhook, therefore you can attach
an earmold with standard tubing or Huggie Strap to the end of this earhook.
CAUTION: Connect to battery operated ALDs only. A special isolation cable is
needed for connection to devices running on AC power.
