    Before Replacing the Hard Disk Drive Replace the internal hard disk drive only if it has failed. Do not replace the internal hard disk drive until HP support has diagnosed it as the point of failure. HP recommends that you upgrade the hard disk drive capacity by using the HP Personal Media Drive.
