Chapter 2 System Overview
2.3.2.2
Slim Tower Chassis
The Slim Tower (ST) chassis used for the d330 models provides reasonable expansion and
upgrade capability in a small footprint with the following features:
♦ Tilting card cage for access to DIMM and processor sockets
♦ One low-profile AGP 8X slot
♦ Three half-height (low-profile) PCI slots (see note below)
♦ May be used horizontally as a desktop or mounted vertically in tower stand (supplied)
NOTE: The d330 slim tower chassis may be ordered in the chassis configuration that
uses a riser card to provide two full-height PCI slots. This configuration will very
similar to the layout shown in Figure 2-6 for the small form factor.
