The bays are interconnected using standard CAT5 communications cables. Supplemental bays are provided with a 25’ cable. Refer to Figure 2.1 for a bay-to-bay cable diagram.

When setting total rectifier or total converter current limit, the set point to each unit is the total set point divided by the number of units. For example, if the system contains five rectifiers and the current limit is set to 150 amps then each rectifier has a current limit set point of 30 amps.

Refer to Figure 4.3 and Figure 2.1. • External Battery FA Signal: This input is used to provide an external battery fuse alarm (FA) on the controller due to a tripped battery disconnect device (fuse, breaker or contactor) external to the power system rack.

Rectifiers and optional converters will remain off. The rectifiers will restart when the input power is removed and restored after 30 seconds or more (until the LEDs on the modules extinguish).
