2)Headset bearing replacement

Disassemble the stem by loosening the attachment bolts (if need
be, disconnect the brake cables and derailleurs).

Slide the stem towards the top, being careful not to damage the
compression cap and spacers.

Loosen the QUICKSET collar using the small adjustment pins
included with the module. (Ref: 60003067)
-
Remove the collar by sliding it.
-
Remove the fork from the frame.
-
Remove the bearings and headset seal.
-
Clean everything within reach and then re-grease using bicycle grease.

Place the chamfered side of the headset seal towards the bottom of the fork.

Position the lower headset bearing Ø45 (Ref: 61005887) while making
sure to locate the exterior chamfer face up. (fig. 22)

Insert the fork into the frame.

Position the upper headset bearing Ø42 (Ref: 61004739)
while making sure to locate the exterior chamfer face down. (fig.21)

Slide the QUICKSET collar on the pivot so it just contacts the threaded
ring.

Tighten the collar right up to contact with the bearings, using the small
adjustment pins. (Ref: 60003067)

Carefully adjust the play in the headset.

Reassemble the stem.
Warning: The TIME headset bearings have a specific orientation!
Do not in any case use bearings that are adaptable or from another brand. Doing so will put the rider at risk and irreversibly damage your frame.
