4) Replace the stem
- Position the stem and make sure the height of the fork steer tube is between 0.5 and 2 mm below the
upper face of the stem
- Insert the plug into the interior of the fork steer tube.
- Align the stem.
- Tighten the stem to a torque of 5 Nm (use a torque wrench) (fig. 9)
Warning: overtightening will not improve the hold of the stem but may instead irreversibly damage
the fork steer tube.

C) BOTTOM BRACKET SET-UP
The TIME RX Instinct frames and modules are made to fit the new benchmark of bottom brackets,
the BB 30.
Before proceeding to set-up, make sure that your bottom bracket is compatible with the BB30.
(Certain manufacturers of bottom brackets provide an adapter for BSC to BB30)
Continue to set-up while following the manufacturer's recommendations for the bottom bracket.
Warning: The bottom bracket bearings are factory set, therefore no adjustment is necessary before set-
up.
Advice: In order to avoid noise over time, we recommend setting up the BB30 bearings with LOCTITE
648.
This will maintain a silent and long-term function, while guaranteeing a future disassembly.
