WARNING
It is important to read the instructions below and respect the following recommendations:
Bicycling can occasionally lead to falls or accidents.
Use caution when using your bike.
Follow all the rules of the road and don't forget to wear a helmet.
Keep these instructions in case you need them later.
WARRANTY AGAINST MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
TIME SPORT INTERNATIONAL guarantees this product is free of any defects, whether in the materials used
or in the way it has been made.
This warranty is strictly limited to the replacement of the parts identified defective by the TIME after-sales
service department.
Warning: This warranty doesn't involve TIME products given to sponsored racing professionals or amateurs.
Duration: The warranty given by TIME is a lifetime warranty, only for the original buyer, against material or
manufacturing defects.
It only applies to products sold by a TIME authorized retailer.
Limitations: The TIME warranty does not cover the finish, damages or defects caused by abnormal use, lack of
maintenance, an accident, a fall, or a failure to follow the recommendations enclosed in the instruction manual.
Modifications: Any unauthorized alteration cancels the warranty.
Procedure: For any problem regarding the frame, please contact your TIME retailer. They will call the
TIME after-sales service department who will open a return folder. The TIME retailer will then return
the module to the after-sales department with the original invoice, the warranty card, and a letter
specifying the reasons for the return, as well as a detailed description of the problem encountered, the
kind of use, each component's reference number, and the number of kilometers ridden.
Cost: The TIME after-sales service department will decide if the repairing will be free of charge as soon
as the materials are received. The customer will have to pay for both disassembly and reassembly, as
well as shipping costs. TIME SPORT INTERNATIONAL will cover the cost of return shipping to the
retailer, if the repairs fall under the warranty.
Recommendations: TIME recommends scrupulously following the instructions for the assembly and use of the
module. In the event of an impact or a fall, the module can suffer from very high stresses whose effects may be
delayed, causing cracking or even a breakage of the structure.

  • Page 5: Saddle Height Adjustment

    Before setting up the bike, make sure all parts and components are compatible with the TIME module frame. In order to adapt the TIME Translink module to the user's height and position, it will be necessary to adjust the stem height as well as the saddle height.

  • Page 7 Projet de notice de montage RX Instinct Seat clamp Figure 3 3) Saddle height adjustment Setting the saddle height is done in a traditional manner. Be careful that the final position of the seatpost is between the two markings, ‘max. extension’ and ‘max. insertion’. (fig 4).
  • Page 8 The QUICKSET concept involves separating the headset adjustment from the stem adjustment, all while maintaining the advantages of the Aheadset system (TIME patent). The cyclist can therefore adjust their position without changing the headset adjustment. This solution makes any sort of compression system obsolete.

  • Page 10 Figure 9 C) BOTTOM BRACKET SET-UP The TIME RX Instinct frames and modules are made to fit the new benchmark of bottom brackets, the BB 30. Before proceeding to set-up, make sure that your bottom bracket is compatible with the BB30.
  • Page 11 Projet de notice de montage RX Instinct D) BRAKE CALIPER SET-UP Before proceeding to set-up, familiarize yourself with the manufacturer's brake system spec sheet. The TIME modules or frames are delivered with specific brake nuts, which should be used in place of the original brake nuts.

The TIME module is compatible with 10 and 11 speed derailleurs. - Lightly grease the attachment bolt before set-up. - Standard thread M 10 X 100 Warning: If adjusting the rear hanger turns out to be necessary, it is important to have a professional do this with the correct tool.

    Projet de notice de montage RX Instinct H) ADJUSTMENTS AND MAINTENANCE 1) Headset adjustment The TIME modules or frames are equipped with a QUICKSET headset. Even though it is factory set, it is normal to have a small amount of play after a break in period.
