got disconnect during driving. In this case, please refer to the section
"TROUBLESHOOTING" for more information.

OPERATION
BEFORE USING THE MOWER
Checking environment
a. Ensure that the work area is clear of children, bystanders, and pets.
b. Clear the work area of objects that may be thrown by the mower
blades.
c. Check and ensure that the LED lights are in proper status:
The headlights, sidelights and rear lights are controlled by the
LED light switch.
The running lights always keep on during driving.
When backing up, if the rear lights are turned off, they will flash
to warn bystanders; if the rear lights are turned on, they will
remain on.
All lights will switch off automatically when the mower shuts off
automatically after a period without operating.
Checking the cold tire pressure (Fig. D1)
Checking the mower status and battery charge level
a. Mower fuel-gauge indicator (Fig. A2 - 27a)
Each segment of the mower fuel-gauge indicator indicates 20%
charge of the inserted battery packs.
NOTICE: The mower fuel gauge indicator and the fuel gauge on the LCD
screen indicate the average capacity of the inserted battery packs.
b. Mower status indicator (Fig. A1 & Fig. A2 - 27b)
If the status indicator shows green, the mower is ready for driving. If not,

Testing the safety interlock system (Fig. D2 - Fig. D8)
NOTICE:: The operator must be on the seat before test.
a. Before testing (Fig. D2 – Fig. D4)
b. To test the deck-blade system (Fig. D5) then slowly stand up
c. To test the driving system (Fig. D6 – Fig. D8) then slowly stand up

If the deck-blade system and/or the driving system fails to stop when the
operator is off of the seat and if the cause cannot be determined after
confirming the plug and socket connection of the seat is well connected,
contact your EGO customer service center immediately.

Adjust the seat position to ensure you are able to make firm contact
with the parking-brake pedal before operating the mower. Seat
suspension adjustment could make you achieve the most comfortable
experience on the seat.

In order to start this mower, EGO batteries totaling 15 Ah (2 X
BA4200/BA4200T) or more are required. For best performance, we
recommended use of EGO batteries that total 30 Ah or more.
Use only with the recommended battery packs and
chargers. (Fig. F9 & F10)
